Before and After School Club practitioner

Duties

• Supervise children during before and after school sessions, ensuring their safety and well\-being at all times


• Implement engaging activities that support social, emotional, and physical development.


• Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies


• Liaise with school staff and parents to communicate children's progress and address any concerns promptly


• Maintain a clean, organized environment that meets health and safety standards, including adhering to first aid protocols when necessary


• Support children with special educational needs by adapting activities and providing tailored assistance


• Lead or assist with recreational activities.

• Experience working with children from 4 years to 11 years old.


• Certification in first aid and child safeguarding is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already held


• Level 2 or 3 in Childcare.


• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues


• Ability to work flexibly during before and after school hours in a lively environment


• Passion for supporting children's growth through nurturing guidance, creative activities, and positive role modeling

Pay: £12\.21\-£12\.80 per hour
