Bartender, PINPIN Oslo
We are looking for a responsible, motivated Bar Manager to join our team and take the lead of our bar operation.
We are looking for someone who is a strong leader, enjoys working with people, and wants to help develop both the team and the bar.
As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for making sure the bar runs smoothly, the team performs well, and our guests receive excellent service.
Your Responsibilities:
Team & Leadership
Lead, motivate, and support the bar team.
Train new staff and follow up on their development.
Follow up on staff performance and attendance.
Hire and interview new staff.
Handle staff-related challenges and find solutions.
Bar Operations
Ensure high standards for drinks, service, cleanliness, and presentation.
Make sure opening, closing, and weekly cleaning routines are followed.
Handle guest complaints and operational challenges.
Make sure the bar is organized and ready for service.
Stock & Costs
Order products and supplies.
Manage inventory and stock control.
Follow up on waste, product usage, and costs.
Staff Planning
Create the monthly staff schedule in Planday based on bookings and business demand.
Find solutions and arrange staff coverage when employees are sick or unavailable.
Training & Reporting
Send reports after trial shifts and training shifts.
Keep management updated on staff performance, training, and operational matters.
Teamwork & Reporting
Work closely with the Floor Responsible to ensure smooth daily operations.
Report directly to the Operations Manager.
Communicate clearly and professionally with the team and management.
Requirements
Kunnskapsprøven completed with a valid municipal attestation.
Valid Salutt course/attest from the municipality.
Previous experience in a bar or leadership position is preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to stay organized and make decisions in a busy environment.
