Are you a high\-energy leader who thrives when the pace is fast? Do you love the buzz of an airport hotel where no two days are the same? We are looking for a rockstar Barception Manager to lead our front\-of\-house team at our massive 605\-room property\- which just happens to be the largest Comfort Hotel in all of Scandinavia!
At Comfort, we don’t do stiff check\-in desks. Our Barception is the beating heart of the hotel\- it’s a reception, a bar, and a deli all in one. And we need a manager who is just as happy jumping behind the bar to pour a draft beer as they are diving into the weekly rosters.
What you’ll be doing (The gig):
You’ll have overall responsibility for the Barception team, operations, and the financial results. Your main mission is to create a structured, fun, and high\-performing workplace.
- Lead \& Inspire: You are the captain of the Barception crew. You'll handle recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews, making sure the team feels supported and motivated.
- Keep the Balance: You’ll run the daily scheduling, and stay on top of the budget, labor costs, and food/beverage forecasting.
- Rock the Operations: You lead by example. You’ll work on the floor alongside the team, making sure our guest satisfaction scores (Loopon) stay sky\-high and driving upselling at the desk.
Who you are (Our 3 must\-haves):
- High\-Volume Hospitality Experience: You have 2–3 years of management experience running a large reception operation (ideally in a big hotel or busy transit hub). A 605\-room hotel doesn't scare you! True professionalism to us means combining top\-tier operational expertise with a warm, casual, and down\-to\-earth presence on the floor. You are someone who leads with genuine authenticity, thrives on real human connections, and feels right at home leading a massive operation in a comfortable t\-shirt uniform while making both guests and crew feel instantly welcome.
- Team Synergy \& Positive Culture: You are a natural people person. You know how to take a diverse team, set clear standards and build a positive, supportive workplace culture.
- Operational Resilience (The "Airport Factor"): Operating right next to the airport means sudden changes happen. Whether it’s a massive morning rush or a flight cancellation that impacts the night crew, you are someone who sets up the team for success, stays completely calm under pressure, and knows how to lead a high\-volume operation with a smile.
