We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who take pride in good service and want to help every guest enjoy their visit.
You’ll be part of the team that brings The Dukeries Lodge to life, giving guests a warm welcome, delivering attentive service and making sure they leave looking forward to their next visit.
This is a varied role across our bar and restaurant. Depending on the shift, you could be looking after a section of tables, taking orders, serving food, preparing drinks or supporting colleagues wherever help is needed. Your duty manager will allocate responsibilities each shift, so you’ll need to be comfortable working across different areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and looking after tables in your allocated section.
- Delivering food promptly, checking presentation and ensuring orders reach the correct guests.
- Preparing and serving drinks behind the bar, with bar duties allocated to team members aged 18 and over.
- Clearing and resetting tables, keeping service areas clean, tidy and ready for guests.
- Handling guest questions and concerns calmly, involving the duty manager when needed.
- Supporting colleagues to keep service running smoothly.
- Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of personal hygiene, food hygiene and health and safety.

Pay: Up to £12\.71 per hour
