Bar Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a comprehensive understanding of bar and restaurant functions. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery


• Manage stock levels, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and beverages


• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health regulations


• Serve beverages to guests, providing excellent customer service and hospitality


• Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and product knowledge


• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive team environment


• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction


• Maintain compliance with licensing laws and health \& safety regulations


• Cash Handling


• Key Holder


• Opening and Locking up

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally as a bar supervisor or manager


• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork


• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices


• Experience in serving beverages and delivering exceptional customer service in a hospitality environment


• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable


• Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail


• Knowledge of health \& safety regulations relevant alcohol licensing laws


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
