Bar Supervisor/ Manager

The Cottage in the Wood is currently opening up its doors to seek a new Bar \& Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

The business is growing, and that means there are opportunities for the team to grow with it. We are looking for a flexible, experienced candidate to work across both our bar and brasserie, acting as second\-in\-command to our Operations Manager and helping to lead the floor day to day.
We currently have 32 guest rooms over three buildings, and two Airbnb properties on site.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking candidate with strong bar skills and up\-to\-date knowledge of cocktails and the latest drinks trends. Behind the bar, you'll need real craft: confident cocktail making, a good palate, and a genuine interest in keeping our drinks list current. You'll also need strong bar management skills — confident with stock management and stocktaking, and comfortable working with gross profit figures to help run the bar cost\-effectively. Alongside this, you'll need a great eye for detail and a genuine interest in guest service, comfortable working across both the bar and restaurant. You'll support and deputise for our Operations Manager, so previous supervisory experience is an advantage. You'll be a strong team player, comfortable working as part of a small team, both during the week and at weekends.
You will need to have your own form of transport to get to The Cottage in the Wood.
Job Type: Full\-time / Part\-time, flexibility is essential (evenings and weekends included)
Salary: Competitive up to £36,000 inclusive of tips.
