We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to join the team at Lunar.
This is a hands\-on role for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in producing exceptional drinks and wants to bring personality, flair and energy to the bar.
Working alongside our Restaurant Manager and wider management team, you’ll take responsibility for the day\-to\-day running of the bar, leading from the front during busy services and helping us maintain consistently high standards across our drinks offering.
The Role
As Bar Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee the day\-to\-day operation and organisation of the bar.
- Lead the bar during peak service periods, ensuring service remains smooth, efficient and engaging.
- Prepare and serve cocktails and drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure every drink leaving the bar meets our standards for quality, presentation and specification.
- Support and train the wider front\-of\-house team in cocktail making, drinks knowledge, bar procedures and service standards.
- Help maintain strong stock control, including minimising wastage, monitoring usage and ensuring products are correctly stored and rotated.
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, who will retain responsibility for ordering and formal stocktakes.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal, speciality and signature cocktails, helping with the development of future drinks menus.
- Ensure the bar is clean, organised, well presented and fully prepared ahead of each service.
- Maintain all relevant licensing, hygiene and health \& safety standards.
- Bring personality and animation to the bar, creating an engaging experience for our guests rather than simply serving drinks.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a quality bar, restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Confident making classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Passionate about drinks, presentation and great hospitality.
- Comfortable taking charge of a busy bar during peak services.
- Organised and conscious of stock, wastage and cost control.
- Confident training and supporting other members of the team.
- Creative and excited by the opportunity to contribute to cocktail and drinks development.
- Friendly, professional and naturally engaging with guests.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and willing to bring their own flair and personality to the role.

Pay: £12\.71\-£14\.00 per hour
