Bar Supervisor - LIMEKILN Estate
LIMEKILN is seeking a part\-time bar supervisor to join the team for a 5\-month fixed term contract between June 2026 until the end of October 2025\. This is a guest facing role, with your main responsibility to deliver a 5\* bar service, supervising a small team of bartenders within a design led space to achieve truly unique events. LIMEKILN offers a bespoke bar service, so the ideal candidate will be creative and confident, with a background in mixology and managing a high\-volume bar. You must be capable in all aspects of bar service and be organised and diligent with stock management.
Key Requirements:
● Supervising a small team of bartenders on event days to ensure a friendly and fast paced service.
● Represent LIMEKILN’s high standards of event delivery, ensuring the customer’s planner is actioned whilst maintaining high levels of cleanliness and efficient service throughout.
● Having an excellent knowledge of services and facilities with the ability to discuss this confidently with guests.
● Ability to manage and support the events and bar team with any requirements on the day including venue set up, bartending and front of house duties.
● Ensuring the bar is set up for each event with adequate preparation for bespoke packages including making house\-made syrups and batching cocktails.
● Organising allocations for events to ensure correct quantities of drinks are available and stored correctly.
● Checking deliveries and recording stock levels into our stock management system.
● Keeping records of any wastage / breakages, reporting to senior management.
● Creating order lists to be placed by senior management.
● Following all event, office and back of house procedure to ensure the venue is managed safely and diligently.
● Understanding emergency protocol for the venue and adhering to Health and Safety procedures.
● Attending training sessions and meetings when required, including off site.
What we are looking for:
· Excellent customer service with a passion for all aspects of hospitality.
· Pride and care in presentation and excellent attention to detail.
· Experience at a supervisory level in a cocktail bar, or high\-volume event bar.
· Intermediate knowledge of spirits and wine.
· Experienced barista.
· Driving Licence.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication.
· Ability to work flexibly across all aspects of events, including weekends and evenings.
What we offer:
· Hourly rate of £16\.81 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.
· Approximately 30\-40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends with the potential to add shifts when available on an ad hoc basis.
· Paid overtime for additional shifts, when agreed by House Manager.
