Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar, Restaurant \& Wedding Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant west\-end venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The successful applicant will play a vital part in creating an inviting atmosphere while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front of house staff, including bartenders and serving personnel, to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and maintain inventory control to minimise waste and maximise profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health \& safety standards across all operations
- Lead team management efforts by providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while controlling labour costs
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Maintain a welcoming environment for guests, addressing any issues promptly to uphold excellent customer service standards
- Monitor sales figures and implement strategies to increase revenue and optimise operational efficiency
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a bar or similar setting
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen experience, or hotel experience is advantageous
- Experience in serving drinks, hospitality service, or barista work is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management and customer satisfaction
- Relevant qualifications in food safety or hospitality management are preferred
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £14\.00\-£14\.50 per hour
