Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar and restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency with quality standards.
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas.
- Assist in training new team members and provide ongoing support to develop their skills.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests receive excellent service.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation efficiently.
- Promote a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is desirable.
