Bar Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant social club bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bar management, hospitality and team leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a small dedicated team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in managing bar operations within a fast\-paced environment. Experience of working within a social club is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of bar operations, including supervising staff, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.


• Lead the team in delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for members and customers .


• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies.


• Organise staff rotas, oversee training programmes, and supervise team members to optimise performance.


• Monitor stock levels, place orders for beverages and supplies, and manage inventory control efficiently.


• Handle member and customer enquiries or complaints professionally, aiming for swift resolution and guest satisfaction.


• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.


• Promote the use of club facilities through all available channels and oversee the running of all functions and events.

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is essential.


• Previous experience in managing bars or similar venues with responsibilities including serving drinks and hospitality management.


• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in high\-pressure environments.
