Bar Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff, and ensuring that all beverages are prepared to the highest standards.

Duties

• Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies.


• Oversee the preparation and presentation of drinks, ensuring quality and consistency in every beverage served.


• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during food preparation and production times.


• Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages.


• Train new staff members in bar operations, including drink recipes, customer service techniques, and health \& safety regulations.


• Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly to enhance the guest experience.


• Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase bar sales and attract new customers.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.


• Experience managing both bar and front\-of\-house operations, with the ability to coordinate service teams and maintain high standards of customer service throughout the venue.


• Strong knowledge of food preparation and production processes, particularly in relation to beverage service.


• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.


• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Familiarity with bar equipment and maintenance procedures is advantageous.


• A passion for creating a vibrant atmosphere that encourages repeat business.

Pay: £15\.00\-£19\.00 per hour
