Bar Manager/Duty Manager

Salary negotiable up to £35,000 DOE plus tips.
48 hours per week to include evenings and weekends.
We are looking for an Duty Manager to join our friendly team at our new site in Leaminton Spa
This person will have proven hands on management style, lead by example and always put the guest first, seeking service excellence at all times. If you are ambitious, passionate about food, drinks, and service and are looking for a company who will excel your career, this role is for you!
Your duties and responsibilities:
\*Supporting the owner in the day\-to\-day management of the restaurant/pub and taking full responsibility in their absence
\*Proactive management, leading by example to deliver the outstanding customer service
\*Knowledge of all aspects of Health \& Safety
\*Driving standards and ensuring your team are highly motivated to deliver targets
\*An understanding of how to maximise profit, possess an eye for detail and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and help your team
\*Understanding of BOH systems, rota planning, stock, GP and cost management (training available)
\*You’re able to manage busy shifts and events with ease, communicating clearly and taking control of FOH and BOH teams in order to deliver a smooth shift
\*You can demonstrate a high level of self motivation, organisational and leadership skills
Preferred attributes and experience:
\- Currently be at assistant management level within restaurant, pub or hotel
\- Be ambitious and passionate
\- Have a great front of house presence and naturally inspire your team
\- Have a good understanding of business operations
\- Love great food and good service
