Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant at Alison House Residential Home in the West Midlands. This role is essential in supporting our mission to provide high\-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well\-being while promoting their independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Foster a warm and supportive environment that encourages resident participation and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in elderly care.
- Uphold the values of dignity, respect, and privacy in all interactions with residents.
- Assist with transportation needs as required.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic IT skills are beneficial but not essential.
Pay: £12\.71\-£17\.35 per hour
