<p>We are recruiting for an experienced <strong>Band 6 Acute Medicine Physiotherapist</strong> for an exciting opportunity in Birmingham. This is an <strong>exclusive vacancy available only through our agency</strong>, offering competitive rates and an immediate start for the successful candidate.</p>
<h2>The Role</h2>
<p>You will work within a busy acute medicine service, assessing and treating patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions. You will play a key role in facilitating recovery, promoting safe discharge planning, and supporting patients to regain mobility and independence during their hospital stay.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for acute medical patients.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans.</li>
<li>Manage a varied caseload within acute medical wards.</li>
<li>Support early mobilisation, respiratory care, and functional rehabilitation.</li>
<li>Contribute to discharge planning and patient flow initiatives.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best patient outcomes.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>HCPC Registered Physiotherapist.</li>
<li>Previous NHS experience at Band 6 level.</li>
<li>Acute Medicine or Acute Inpatient Physiotherapy experience is essential.</li>
<li>Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and organisational abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and effectively manage a busy caseload.</li>
