We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Senior Support Worker to join our friendly team within a specialist social care home (without nursing), supporting seven gentlemen aged 60–76 who have severe learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.

You will support them both within their home and out in the community, helping them to live life to the fullest while ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing.

If you have the experience, passion, and commitment to support people to live their best lives, we'd love to hear from you.

Assist individuals with eating and drinking.

Support personal hygiene needs and all aspects of personal care, such as bathing/ showering

and support with continence needs.

Support physical care needs which may be due to a range of acute or chronic difficulties and

includes manual handling using equipment provided.

Involve and engage individuals in all aspects of their care.

Ensure that the dignity and respect of individuals are maintained at all times.

Act as Shift Leader and delegate responsibilities to colleagues at handover in line with

people’s needs and preferences, ensuring the shift planner is updated.

Support people with their medication.

Contribute to, and record, health checks, risk assessments and care plans, using physical

records and/or digital tools (depending on registered home).
