As Bakery Manager, you'll be responsible for the day\-to\-day running of the bakery, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and maintaining the high standards Jake's Bakery is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the bakery and retail area.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of bakery and front\-of\-house staff.
- Create staff rotas and manage scheduling.
- Ensure outstanding customer service at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and place supplier orders.
- Maintain food safety, HACCP, and health \& safety standards.
- Manage cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Work closely with the bakery production team to ensure product availability.
- Monitor sales and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new team members when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming bakery environment.
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a bakery, café, food retail, or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A passion for food, customer service, and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends where required.

Experience
- Bakery, café, food retail, or hospitality management: 2 years preferred
- Customer service: 2 years preferred
