Baker

Good Day Bakery is looking for a new Full Time Baker to assist our team of busy, lovely, bakers.

Professional pastry experience is preferred and a passion for baking is a must. We are looking for team players and hard workers who love to laugh as well as maintain the highest standards of consistency in their work.

The right candidate will:

• Work well in a team, as well as individually.


• Be available to work in Bath year round, including school holidays.


• Be available to work Monday\-Friday and rotating Saturdays (with a day off in the week when you work Saturdays), with 7am or 8am starts.


• Know a bit about Good Day and our bakes (check out our instagram @gooddaycafe for an idea).


• Have keen attention to detail and understand the importance of keeping standards high.


• Have experience in a pastry kitchen or high volume food preparation environment.


• Be able to do heavy lifting (think lifting sacks of flour, heavy 20L mixing bowls, and cutting big trays of brownies) up and down set of stairs.

• Flexible daytime hours.


• A share of tips and service charge from the cafe. Averaging an additional £2\.00ph on top of base wage.

Pay: £12\.75\-£14\.50 per hour
