We are currently recruiting for Back Of House Supervisor to join our team.

You will be reporting to the Executive Chef and Senior Sous with a dotted line to the Finance Manager and must have had previous Back of House \| Stewarding leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the Back of House \| Stewarding team to ensure, cleanliness of all Kitchen related spaces and that any equipment or areas that require maintenance are communicated immediately.
- Recruit, onboard and train all members of the stewarding team and provide them with the tools so the department runs successfully and efficiently.
- Ensure that the Back of House \| Stewarding department are compliant; mandatory People and Culture trainings, weekly, monthly, bi\-monthly and annual etc audits for Fire Life Safety, Health and Safety.
- Keep accurate records on cutlery and crockery stock including completing a monthly audit – then communicate.
- Receive all goods that arrive to the Hotel and that the supporting documentation is accurate to what has been delivered – communicate any discrepancies. Ensure all documentation is uploaded into the procurement system
- Manage the departmental costs ensuring scheduling and resources are dispatched accordingly to support operational performance.
- Play an active positive role in ensuring the culture within stewarding, kitchen and The Shepherd Mayfair is authentic, gracious, accountable and positive.
- When and where required, communicate directly with suppliers \| contractors to support the operation of the department and Hotel
