AUTOMATION CONSULTANT (HYBRID LISBOA)

A Portuguese company is hiring for a hybrid position.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

• Candidates must already be based in Portugal.

Language Requirements: Portuguese and English (Professional level)

• ️ Experience Level: Senior (5\+ years)

Rate: €2300 \- €2600 RV

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for process automation and infrastructure management


• Implement automation solutions using Ansible and Terraform (or equivalent tools)


• Install, configure, and administer Red Hat Linux servers or similar distributions


• Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting and other scripting languages


• Manage operating system resources, including users, permissions, packages, and updates


• Implement and strengthen system and application security measures (hardening)


• Perform security audits and ensure compliance with best practices


• Plan, execute, and monitor Linux system implementation projects with a strong focus on automation


• Diagnose and resolve issues in Linux environments and network services


• Use version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and GitLab


• Communicate with stakeholders and maintain clear, up\-to\-date technical documentation

Candidate Profile

✔️ Experience

• 5\+ years of experience with Ansible and automation


• 3\+ years of experience with Terraform or equivalent tools


• 3\+ years of experience in Linux system administration


• 3\+ years of experience in security hardening and audits


• 3\+ years managing Linux (Red Hat) implementation projects


• Proven experience troubleshooting Linux systems and network environments


• Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD

Education \& Certifications

• Minimum qualification equivalent to Level III (QNQ)


• Mandatory certification: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Technical Skills

• Ansible

• Linux (Red Hat)


• Shell scripting or equivalent


• System and application security


• CI/CD pipelines


• Version control systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
