About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our team on a full\-time, on\-site basis at Hamilton Technology Park, Blantyre.
The role involves creating and producing accurate technical and construction drawings, working closely with the design engineering and project teams to ensure designs are coordinated, compliant and delivered to a high standard.
The successful candidate will provide design support throughout the project lifecycle and work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to meet project requirements, deadlines and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical and construction drawings using AutoCAD
- Work closely with the design engineering team to ensure drawings are accurate and coordinated
- Interpret project specifications, design briefs and technical information
- Support project teams throughout the full project lifecycle
- Ensure drawings are produced in line with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Assist with design coordination across multidisciplinary teams
- Review, update and amend drawings as required during project development
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, presentation and document control
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing
- Experience producing construction drawings and working from project specifications
- Good understanding of design engineering principles
- Ability to work on complex projects and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and problem\-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in MEP/M\&E design or the construction industry is advantageous
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards
- Familiarity with CIBSE and British Standards requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design or a related discipline preferred

Salary DOE
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
