Audit Manager

Audit Manager Location: Brighton

Pro Finance is partnering with a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Brighton office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified professional to manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, lead and develop a talented team, and play a key role in the continued growth of the firm's audit offering. A significant proportion of the work involves charities and not-for-profit organisations.

The Role Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors


• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion


• Reviewing audit and accounts work prepared by junior staff


• Coaching and developing team members


• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts


• Building strong client relationships


• Supporting business development and practice growth initiatives


• Assisting with the development of audit services


• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies


• Occasional travel to client sites and London meetings

About You You will ideally have:

• ACA or ACCA qualification


• Strong audit and accounts experience within practice


• Experience managing client relationships and deadlines


• Previous experience reviewing and supervising junior staff


• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Charity or not-for-profit sector experience


• Business development experience


• People management experience
