Description
- Lead and manage audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion.
- Review and prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide expert advice to clients on accounting and tax matters.
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of financial reports.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring professional development.
- Maintain strong client relationships and address client queries effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and industry regulations.
- Initially the role will be circa 25% audit and 75% accounts/tax with a view to the audit portfolio growing over time.
A successful Audit & Accounts Manager should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Experience managing client portfolios within a professional services setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Competitive salary in the range of £50000 to £60000 per annum, depending on experience.
