About The Role

The Associate Pricing Analyst will support the delivery of pricing analysis to help optimise volume and margin through data\-led insight, working closely with experienced Pricing Analysts and commercial stakeholders as part of the wider Pricing Team.

Accountabilities

  • Support the pricing team in contributing to the overall pricing strategy as part of the Pricing and Analytics Team.

  • Assist with price setting activities, including price list maintenance and preparation of pricing communications.

  • Support the development and maintenance of pricing tools and reporting, using technologies such as Excel, SQL outputs, Power BI or similar platforms.

  • Apply agreed pricing rules and governance processes under guidance, escalating exceptions where appropriate.

  • Escalate pricing exceptions and recommendations for approval.

  • Analyse data sources to identify trends and performance drivers, supporting volume and margin optimisation.

  • Monitor core pricing KPIs and support the review of variances and exceptions.

  • Assist with the investigation of customer pricing queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across sourcing, supply, and commercial teams to support effective pricing outcomes.

  • Support commercial team members on tactical initiatives by providing pricing data, analysis, and insights.

  • Prepare clear pricing analysis and summaries to support internal discussions and decision making.

  • Actively seek to learn pricing practices and delivery.

  • Ensure you and your team are aware of adhere to, and remain compliant with Good Distributions Practice

About You


  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Competent in Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

  • Ability to work with large datasets and maintain data accuracy.

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis clearly.

  • Willingness to learn, develop, and build commercial understanding.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Degree/equivalent (or working towards) in a commercial or analytical discipline, or demonstrable analytical capability.
