Overview
As an Associate Partner – Private Banking and Wealth Management within the UK Banking Advisory practice, you will operate as a senior leader with full accountability for client delivery, account growth and business development across the private banking and wealth management sector.
You will lead complex engagements end\-to\-end while simultaneously developing strategic client relationships, originating new business and expanding Synpulse’s footprint in the UK market.
Internally, you will play a critical role in shaping the practice, developing talent and reinforcing Synpulse’s culture as a high\-performing boutique consultancy.
This role is suited to senior professionals with a strong industry network, commercial mindset and proven track record of delivering and selling high\-value consulting engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Account Leadership \& Revenue Ownership
- Own and grow strategic client accounts, with accountability for revenue targets and profitability.
- Develop long\-term client roadmaps and position Synpulse as a partner of choice.
- Identify opportunities for cross\-selling and expansion across services and capabilities.
- Build durable relationships with senior decision\-makers across business, operations and technology functions.
- Oversee account governance, satisfaction and retention.
- Originate new business through an established network within UK private banking and wealth management.
- Lead the full sales lifecycle: opportunity shaping, proposal development, negotiation and closing.
- Establish new client accounts and nurture them into sustainable revenue streams.
- Represent Synpulse externally through industry forums, events and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to bring broader capabilities to UK opportunities.
- Provide executive oversight and leadership for complex, multi\-stream transformation programmes.
- Ensure engagements deliver measurable client value while meeting quality, timeline and commercial expectations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including C\-suite and business heads.
- Intervene on critical issues, manage delivery risk and ensure successful outcomes across the portfolio.
- Sponsor and guide engagement teams to maintain delivery excellence.
- Set direction and priorities for engagement teams, allocating work across Managers, Senior Consultants and Consultants.
- Act as a Career Advisor, mentoring and coaching colleagues to support performance and career progression.
- Build leadership capability within the UK practice through sponsorship and development of future leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the UK office, including capability development and market positioning.
- Help define priority sectors, offerings and investment areas.
- Support recruitment of high\-calibre talent aligned to practice needs.
- Act as a role model for Synpulse values and leadership behaviours.
