If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you as Associate Global Medical Affairs Director in the Rare Haemato\-Renal Disorders Medical Affairs Team. This position is based in our office in Zurich, Switzerland.

Your new role

As Associate Global Medical Affairs Director, you will be a key member of the Rare Disease Medical Affairs team, responsible for scientific and educational activities supporting rare

haematological and rare\-renal disorders with an immunological component. You will report to the Global Medical Director, Rare Endocrine \& Haemato\-Renal Disorders, Rare Disease Medical Affairs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and/or providing input to the global medical affairs strategy for pipeline assets for rare haematological and rare renal disorders impacted by the complement system, and implementing defined tactical projects

  • Acting as a strategic partner, providing expert medical leadership to guide development, submission and launch planning for the assets, including medical input across product development, regulatory, pharmacoeconomic, marketing and safety

  • Developing educational materials and providing guidance and support to key affiliates – in conjunction with the medical excellence team – in scientific dialogue and launch preparation activities

  • Contributing to the update of the Therapy Area Evidence Strategy and executing relevant projects within evidence generation

  • Representing the company in interactions with external scientific leaders, study centres, patient advocacy groups and health authorities as needed

This is an office\-based position. International travel of approximately 10% per year can be expected.

Rare Disease, based in Zurich, Switzerland, is the global head office of the Rare Disease arm of Novo Nordisk. Your skills \& qualifications

You are motivated to improve the lives of patients and hold a Medical Doctor, PhD or PharmD degree with experience in immunology, rare bleeding or rare renal disorders. In addition, you bring:

  • 5\+ years of related work experience in the clinical/pharmaceutical industry, including experience in global or regional medical affairs, with launch experience and commercial and business understanding

  • The ability to bring scientific and medical leadership to communications with external KOLs and societies with credibility

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in cross\-functional, international teams within a matrix organisation

  • Strategic and tactical thinking on how innovation can support patient diagnosis and management, combined with strong project management skills that enable you to drive projects independently to completion within budget and timelines

  • A proactive nature that allows you to anticipate both opportunities and challenges, with the initiative to effectively address them

  • Experience within complement\-mediated disorders is an advantage
