The Children and Young Peoples Autism Service has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Therapy Practitioner to join the service.

The Assistant Therapy Practitioner will offer needs\-led support and signposting to families and young people within the well\-established CYP autism service.

This post is based in Anglesey House, Rugeley, but will include some potential for home visits to locations across South Staffordshire.

• Be competent as appropriate to the requirements of the role.


• Demonstrate at all times the trust values.


• Be responsible, under the guidance of a registered practitioner, for a defined population of

service users in a variety of settings including clinics, schools, homes

• Be skilled in supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of care/support

packages under the direction of a registered practitioner.

• Have supervisory responsibilities as required and contribute to service developments

We are looking for someone with experience, knowledge and a passion to provide needs led intervention and support to children and young people with a diagnosis of Autism whilst supporting the service to improve the offer of intervention.
