Assistant Store Manager (38h/week) \- MaxMara

MISSION:

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the maximization of sales, in compliance with the company's management rules and the Brand's image.

The main objectives of the position are: 1\) Achieving the commercial targets assigned by the Store Manager; 2\) Managing the store team to ensure the correct distribution of personnel based on flows and commercial objectives; 3\) Ensuring correct product management in terms of assortment and display in the point of sale; 4\) Ensuring the correctness of product management within the warehouse and inventory activities; 5\) Maintaining a high level of customer experience and fostering the relationship with customers.

The Assistant Store Manager is present in small and medium\-sized stores and reports directly to the Store Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUSINESS

Ensures the achievement of targets assigned by the Retail Direction, in terms of budget, turnover, profitability, and KPIs;

Implements and completes projects assigned by the Store Manager with a focus on business development, involving all store team resources;

Suggests to the Store Manager modifications to plans/programs/strategies in case of difficulties in achieving pre\-established objectives, based on observations on the shop floor.

MANAGEMENT

Manages and coordinates the assigned store's team , ensuring the growth of resources through continuous training. Enhances the strengths and potential areas for improvement of the resources;

Represents an important filter between the store team and the Store Manager figure;

Receives objectives from the Store Manager, distributes them to their team clearly and organizedly, and works to achieve them together with the team;

Daily checks and monitors the team's progress, intervening if assigned objectives are not being met, through periodic feedback moments with individual resources;

In case of new hires, supports the Store Manager in the onboarding of resources;

Manages and develops relationships with external suppliers not directly managed by the Headquarters (seamstress, florist, magazines…);

Manages the first level of complaints (e.g., size changes, phone complaint handling…);

Promotes, adopts, and develops the use of digital technologies within their function in relation to both process management and relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in the business;

Adopts significant behaviors and promotes operational/cultural actions for Sustainable Development, understood as the interconnection of practices oriented towards the Care of the Environment, Business Processes, and Organizational Community.

PRODUCT

Knows the collections in detail and guarantees the achievement of objectives on any special projects;

Supports the Store Manager in constantly verifying the product assortment in the store in order to report the correct quantity of necessary product to Headquarters;

Supports the Store Manager in verifying that product rotation in the store and window layout comply with the indications provided by HQ.

CONSUMER

Uses active listening with the consumer to understand their needs and presents proposals aligned with them;

Ensures that the service style established by the company guidelines is always respected by their team, in order to provide a high\-level customer experience to every consumer within the store;

Guarantees the best Consumer Experience across different touch points (online\-offline), also leveraging digital technologies;

Ensures that the acquisition and retention activities designed by Headquarters are implemented by their team.
