About Us
Celino’s Alexandra Parade, a multi award winning Italian Delicatessen \& Restaurant, is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Situated on Alexandra Parade in the east end of Glasgow, Celino’s is a very busy 40 seat restaurant. The restaurant operates alongside our Deli and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
Our focus is on providing our customers with a fantastic experience by providing the highest quality Italian food and excellent customer service in relaxed, welcoming surroundings.

Responsibilities
You will assist our Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily restaurant operations and will be expected to:
- Ensure the highest standards of service
- Collaborate with the kitchen \& deli teams to ensure seamless service
- Achieve and maintain a warm and welcoming restaurant ambience
- Manage reservations, organise seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction
- Evaluate feedback, devise and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
- Lead, motivate and inspire the front of house team
- Delegate tasks effectively and demonstrate ability to manage rotas
- Support training programmes for new staff and ongoing development for existing team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure efficient inventory management
- Assist in implementing promotional activities and special events within the restaurant
Essential
- · At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality role
- · At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a busy restaurant
- · Proven leadership abilities, able to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- · Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- · Ability to thrive in a busy, high pressure environment
- · Strong organisational and multi\-tasking abilities
- · Knowledge of restaurant management software
- · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays as required
- · Experience of working in Italian restaurant and/or strong knowledge of Italian food
- · Food hygiene and safety certification
- · Personal License Holder
- WSET Level 2 Award in Wines
