Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Temp to Perm) • Location: South East Region (Mobile Role - covering London, Thorney Island, and Brize Norton, Oxfordshire)

- Rate: 200-300 (DOE) (Inside IR35)
This is a fast-paced, mobile position covering high-value projects (£2M-£12M) across our key South East bases, including London, Thorney Island, and Brize Norton. Because you won't be fixed to just one spot, we need someone with the drive to succeed and an open mindset to adapt seamlessly to changing site environments.
Mentorship & Day-to-Day Training While you will be involved in managing a diverse range of sub-contract packages, you won't be thrown into the deep end alone. You will be paired with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS), shadowing them closely and learning the ropes every step of the way. All necessary training, guidance, and day-to-day teaching will be fully provided, making this the ultimate environment to level up your commercial skills.

- Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)
- Fire Stopping
- Doors
- Paint & Decorating
Essential Criteria:
- Attitude & Approach: High level of drive and an open mindset-ready to listen, learn, adapt, and grab growth opportunities.
- Flexibility & Mobility: Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own car for daily travel between sites across the South East region.
- Main Contracting Experience: A proven track record working with a main contractor.
- Project Scope: Experience working on projects of a similar scale (£2M - £12M value).
- MOD Experience: Prior experience working on Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites or defense infrastructure frameworks is highly preferable.
- Career Progression: A proven environment for professional development, working directly with a Tier 1 client.
- Stability: The opportunity to secure a permanent position with a reputable main contractor following a successful initial temporary period.
