Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional service. This role involves supporting the day\-to\-day operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and guests have a positive experience. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supervising staff, managing food service, and maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness in our kitchen and bar areas.
Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
- Manage and support kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Provide guidance and training to bartenders, ensuring quality beverage service.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the establishment.
- Help train new employees on operational procedures and customer service expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is essential.
- Familiarity with bartending practices is advantageous. Cellar mannagement and a knowledge of cask ales an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£34,000\.00 per year
