YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Manager in our Brasserie, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading the daily operations of our Brasserie, Wintergarten, and Palaishof, ensuring exceptional dining experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality. You will play a key role in inspiring and developing the service team while creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, operational excellence, and attention to detail. Acting as a visible leader on the floor, you will help drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, commercial success, and continuous improvement across all aspects of the operation.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Brasserie, Wintergarten, and Palaishof, ensuring seamless service throughout all meal periods.


• Lead by example on the restaurant floor, delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring adherence to Rosewood, Forbes, and LQA standards.


• Manage reservations, guest preferences, VIP arrivals, and Special Attention Guest requirements to create personalized and memorable experiences.


• Coach, mentor, and develop the service team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and genuine hospitality.


• Support revenue and profitability targets through effective reservation management, upselling initiatives, outlet promotions, and private dining opportunities.


• Monitor operational quality, service standards, cleanliness, presentation, and colleague grooming to maintain a world\-class dining environment.


• Handle guest feedback, service recovery situations, and complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.


• Collaborate with Culinary, Marketing, Front Office, and other departments to deliver seamless operations, successful promotions, and exceptional guest journeys.


• Support inventory control, cost management, revenue reporting, and POS compliance to maximize operational efficiency.


• Contribute to innovation, seasonal activations, and continuous improvements that strengthen the Brasserie's reputation and commercial performance.

• Completed vocational training in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality environment, including supervisory responsibilities.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high\-performing teams.


• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a strong advantage.


• Exceptional guest\-centric mindset with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.


• Strong commercial awareness with experience in revenue optimization, cost control, and operational performance.


• Proficiency with restaurant reservation systems, POS systems, and guest profile management tools such as SevenRooms.


• Excellent organizational and problem\-solving skills with strong attention to detail.


• Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast\-paced environment.


• Professional, confident, and polished presence with a true host mentality.

Rosewood Munich opened in Autumn 2023 as the brand’s first property in Germany and seventh property in Europe.
