We are looking for a forward\-thinking and dynamic Assistant manager to support the Store manager in the performance of the store, taking ownership of all aspects of the retail management role, with a focus on customer service, ability to analyse sales performance and drive turnover with a positive and strategic approach.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a retail management role who is confident and adaptable and is able to hit the ground running in maximising the stores performance and utilising the tools available to set standards and create a strong, positive customer journey through our store.

The candidate must be able to commute to Liverpool John Lennon Airport with most shifts starting between 3\.00AM and 3\.30AM, so transport is essential for this role, as most shifts will begin at this time.

Across 4\-week period weekly hours will average 40 hours. This can be met in a variety of ways, an example below:

Wk1 \= 5 days @ 9 hours \= Weekly hours \= 45

Wk2 \= 4 days @ 9 hours Weekly hours \= 36

Wk3 \= 5 days @ 9 hours Weekly hours \= 45

Wk4 \= 4 days @ 9 hours Weekly hours \= 36

Average hours for 4 weeks \= 40\.5

This role requires 7 day a week availability. The most common shift time is 3:30am – 12:30pm, however, other shift durations may be required. Additional hours may be required during peak seasons and staff holidays.

The candidate must be comfortable working alone in the store, so the ideal candidate will have a pro\-active and positive working attitude to delivering the company goals. Most shifts will have a 1 hour crossover with other staff.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver a great customer service to all customers

· Lead by example in driving up selling opportunities and promotional offers to bring customers into the store.

· Developing the team to ensure performance is in line with company objectives

· Review sales performance to identify top sellers/poor sellers and act accordingly

· Replenish store and maintain store standards to ensure customer journey is clean, tidy and presentable

What We’re Looking For:

· Strong leadership skills to drive team performance

· Proven experience in driving sales and managing over 4000 SKUs

· A track record of growing sales and able to demonstrate a forward thinking and strategic approach to enhancing our customer experience

· EPOS experience and back office knowledge to manage stock and ordering principles

· A Positive and driven attitude and willingness to learn

· A strong communicator working with Head Office to support the wider business objectives

Essential Qualifications \& Experience:

· At least 2 years experience in a retail management/supervisory role

• GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in Maths and English


• Fully computer literate


• Confident using Microsoft Packages


• Experience using EPOS Software and back office functions


• Must be able to start work at 3\.00AM\-3\.30AM

· Pay between £13\.50\- £14\.00 per hour with approx. 40 hours per week.

· Shifts vary between 5\-9\.5 hours

· Shop Opening hours 03\.30\-20\.00
