Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at the Dark Horse within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting staff management. Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning and guest satisfaction
- Support the management team in coordinating staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations
- Provide exceptional guest services, addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development programmes
- Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
- Manage administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory control, and liaising with suppliers
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a positive work environment
- Support the organisation of events or special functions hosted at the venue
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality sector or pub/bar environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and team communication
- Experience in human resources management, guest services, or related fields preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in management; relevant hospitality background is a must
- Have a great knowledge of social media as you will be in charge of this
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
