Assistant Manager, Dublin 2 Restaurant
Assistant Manager, New Opening, Dublin 2
We are an experienced team opening a new restaurant in the very heart of Dublin 2 at the start of September. We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to help lead the floor from day one.
This is not a role where you're thrown in at the deep end. The successful candidate will be part of the pre\-opening process: getting to know the menu, the wine list, and the ethos of the place before a single guest walks through the door. The support doesn't stop at opening night; it continues for as long as you're with us.
The restaurant is a love letter to restaurant dining of yesteryear, where distractions were minimal, human connection the order, and respectable displays of excess greatly encouraged! We'll have fun with timeless classics cooked over a bespoke wood\-fired grill, paired with stiff cocktails and our favourite wines from the old and new world. We work with the best suppliers in the country, many of whom we've partnered with for over ten years, so the produce coming through the kitchen is second to none.
The space itself is something special: a fully reimagined interior that retains the building's original features, with sash windows, exposed brickwork, arches, and features that are genuinely unique.
We're looking for someone who understands that great hospitality isn't just about being warm and efficient. It's about creating an atmosphere, reading a room, and making every guest feel like the evening was made for them. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to run a tight, high\-performing floor and set the standard for the team every service.
We offer a very competitive salary, negotiable on experience.
If you love what good restaurants are supposed to feel like and want to be part of the team, we'd love to hear from you.
The right person will have:
- High standards and the consistency to hold others to them
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A positive attitude and the kind of personality guests are glad to see again
- Genuine experience in a quality restaurant environment, with a track record of leading a floor team
- A real understanding of hospitality, not just service, but the full guest experience
- Confidence and composure under pressure, with the ability to make good decisions in the moment
- A good working knowledge of wine and cocktails, and a willingness to develop it further
Pay: €40,000\.00\-€45,000\.00 per year
Work Location: In person
