Assistant Manager - Brunch Cafe

MOR Kitchen is a high\-volume brunch café and bakery focused on seasonal food, thoughtful sourcing, and exceptional coffee.

The role

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who is confident running a busy brunch service, understands table service flow, and is comfortable maintaining strong coffee standards.

This is a floor\-led role. You will be expected to take ownership during service, support the team, and keep things moving without being asked.

What you’ll be doing

• Day\-time shifts (8:30 \- 4:30\)


• Leading from the floor during busy services


• Setting the pace, energy, and standard for the team


• Delivering confident, attentive table service


• Maintaining consistent, high\-quality coffee


• Supporting and developing the front of house team


• Managing service flow between kitchen and floor


• Taking responsibility for opening and closing


• Ensuring the café is clean, organised, and ready for service

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a brunch café or restaurant with full table service


• Strong barista skills and confidence working with coffee at pace is desirable but can be trained


• Someone who naturally takes ownership and leads from the front


• Calm under pressure and able to make decisions quickly


• High attention to detail across service and environment


• A team player who raises standards, not lowers them


• Good understanding of food hygiene and operational basics

Pay: £13\.50\-£14\.25 per hour
