We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Liverpool city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the production of accurate financial information and contributing to the day-to-day running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis


• Handling accruals and prepayments


• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes


• Working with operational teams to provide financial insight


• Supporting year-end audit preparation


• Processing journals and maintaining accurate financial records


• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies

About You • AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role


• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail


• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently


• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
