Assistant Librarian - Barbican Library
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Assistant Librarian to join the team at Barbican Library. This is a varied role where you will work across all areas of the library service, supporting adults, children and families while helping to promote reading, learning and digital inclusion across the community.
You will be involved in delivering information and enquiry services, maintaining and developing library collections, organising events and activities, supporting reading and IT services, and working closely with local communities to encourage engagement with library services.
While the role covers the full range of library services, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience supporting children and families, whether within a public library, school library or local authority setting.
