We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to support the day\-to\-day operation of the hotel and help lead our team in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Role Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant Hotel Manager will play a key role in the daily management of hotel operations. The successful candidate will support department heads, ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, drive operational standards, and assist in achieving the hotel’s commercial objectives. Salary negotioable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the overall management and operation of the hotel.
· Lead, motivate and support hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest service.
· Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer care throughout the property.
· Support recruitment, training, development and performance management of staff.
· Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
· Monitor operational procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Assist with budgeting, stock control, payroll and cost management initiatives.
· Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
· Support sales initiatives and help maximise revenue opportunities.
· Act as Duty Manager when required, including evenings and weekends.
Candidate Requirements
· Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel or hospitality environment.
· Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organisational and problem\-solving abilities.
· A hands\-on approach with the ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.
· Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
· Knowledge of hotel systems and operational procedures.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
· Experience in food and beverage operations would be an advantage.
