We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Headteacher to help drive our mission of *Turning Children’s Lives Around*. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Headteacher in leading a nurturing, trauma‑informed specialist school based in Bristol.

Sky Vale School is a specialist setting for children and young people aged 6–18, many of whom have experienced trauma and benefit from a relational, therapeutic approach to education.

About the Role
As Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in both the strategic leadership and day\-to\-day management of the school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Headteacher in leading the school and driving improvement
- Championing and embedding the school’s vision, values, and trauma\-informed approach
- Leading key whole\-school areas of responsibility, in line with your expertise
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding outcomes for young people
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and staff performance

Pay: £40,848\.00\-£45,089\.00 per year
