Assistant General Manager
Wild by Tart is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our management team.
Set within a beautifully restored former power station in Belgravia, Wild by Tart is an independent neighbourhood restaurant and multipurpose venue, home to a restaurant, bar, events space, retail offering and photography studio. We are passionate about seasonal British produce, thoughtful cooking, low intervention wines, elegant cocktails and warm, informed hospitality.
We are fortunate to have a well\-established and supportive management team and are looking for someone who will complement our culture while bringing their own ideas, experience and leadership style.
Whilst the role is primarily focused on the restaurant and bar operation, it also offers the opportunity to gain exposure to events, retail and the wider commercial aspects of the business. The candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience as an Assistant General Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager within a high\-quality restaurant environment.
You will be:

As Assistant GM you will support the GM in the day\-to\-day leadership of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional hospitality and strong financial performance.
You will lead, inspire and develop the front of house team in line with our values, ensuring every guest leaves having enjoyed a memorable experience.
Alongside the daily operation, you will take ownership of a number of commercial and operational responsibilities, including:
- Weekly cash reconciliation and banking
- Supporting departmental financial performance
- Ensuring front of house compliance with health and safety requirements
- Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, allergen awareness and fire safety training
- Supporting the Bar Manager and Events Team to uphold exceptional service and hospitality standards across all areas of the business
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the venue
- £47,000 per annum, including tronc
