Assistant General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on excellence. Tracking of data to drive standards will be key in this high volume site.

Duties

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations ensuring smooth and efficient service.


• Supervise front of house teams, providing guidance and support in all elements of service,


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.


• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring food production to minimise waste.


• Train new staff members in hospitality practices and customer service excellence.


• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among the team.


• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.


• Assist in developing strategies that reflect current trends while maintaining cost\-effectiveness.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential.


• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance.


• Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.


• Previous experience in barista roles is advantageous.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment.
