Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business. The role will be based on site at Manchester Airport.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering processes and standards, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service.

This role is hands\-on and requires the successful candidate to manage staff, deliver operational standards and to support the team in moving vehicles.

We trade 7 days a week and therefore weekend cover is essential, along with flexibility around start and finish times. Hours are 40\-45 hours per week, 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of our on\-site parking services, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.


• Direct communication with hotel partners, building strong relationships.


• Assist the GM to Develop Sales and Marketing strategies for continued growth.


• Ensure all operations run smoothly leading from the front.


• Supervise and train staff to maintain high service standards including uniform, punctuality and professional driving at all times.


• Contribute to operational strategies to improve efficiencies and service across the business.


• To ensure adherence to all Health \& Safety policies and procedures, as per our guidelines.


• Cover ‘On Call’ in the absence of the GM, for Early Returns/Emergency cover etc for parking operations.


• Liaising with our IT support company to ensure prompt resolution of any issues and system development requirements


• Ensure accurate records and parking details are recorded through daily checking process.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality/tourism/travel sector preferred.


• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively and work alongside the existing team.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
