This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front. Working alongside the General Manager, you will play a key role in driving service excellence, supporting and developing our team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a reason to return.

About The Role

About the Role

As Assistant General Manager, you will be at the heart of the operation.

You will oversee the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant, lead service from the floor, support the management team, and ensure the highest standards are consistently delivered across all areas of the business.

This is a hands\-on leadership role where no two days are the same. One moment you may be welcoming guests, the next coaching team members, managing service, resolving guest queries, reviewing business performance or supporting recruitment and training initiatives.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences


  • Leading service from the floor and maintaining a strong operational presence.

  • Creating memorable experiences for every guest.

  • Managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally and efficiently.

  • Driving a culture of hospitality, service excellence and attention to detail.

Leadership \& Team Development


  • Motivating, coaching and supporting a diverse team.

  • Leading by example through professionalism, positivity and accountability.

  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training initiatives.

  • Helping team members grow and develop within the business.

  • Creating a positive and engaging working environment.

Restaurant Operations


  • Supporting the smooth day\-to\-day operation of the restaurant.

  • Managing bookings, seating plans and service flow.

  • Ensuring effective communication between front of house, kitchen and bar teams.

  • Monitoring standards, cleanliness and presentation across all areas.

  • Supporting rota management and staffing requirements.

Commercial \& Financial Responsibilities


  • Managing cash handling procedures and end\-of\-day reconciliations.

  • Monitoring stock levels and supporting ordering processes.

  • Driving efficiencies while maintaining exceptional service standards.

  • Supporting the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.

Acting as a Leader in the Absence of the General Manager


  • Taking responsibility for the operation when required.

  • Ensuring company policies, procedures and standards are upheld.

  • Making confident decisions that support both guests and team members.

Experience \& Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory, Assistant Manager or management role within hospitality.

  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Experience managing teams in a busy food and beverage environment.

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

  • Strong organisational and problem\-solving skills.
