Assistant General Manager – Self Storage Location: Streatham (SW16) + South/South West London
Salary: £28,980 per annum + bonus

About the Role: You’ll be primarily based at our Streatham (SW16) store, supporting the day-to-day management of the facility. Flexibility is essential, as you may also be required to support surrounding stores across South and South West London, including Acre Lane, Battersea, Clapham, Wandsworth, and nearby locations as needed.

As Assistant General Manager, you’ll take on a key role in driving sales, leading by example, and supporting the wider team to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities: • Support the day-to-day running of the store and team

• Drive sales performance and consistently achieve targets


• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times


• Help train, coach, and motivate team members


• Maintain operational standards including Health & Safety compliance


• Build strong relationships with customers and local businesses


• Step up to lead the store in the absence of the General Manager

Working Hours & Shift Pattern: • Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 (two-shift pattern)

• Saturday: 09:00 – 18:00


• Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00

Who We’re Looking For: • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment, ideally with some leadership or supervisory responsibility

• A strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets


• Confident communicator who can build rapport easily


• Hands-on, proactive, and happy to lead from the front


• Flexible and willing to travel between stores when required
