As part of an established team of Finance professionals you will be a key enabler of delivering the University Strategy.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be part of a team of business partners, analysts and technical assistants, providing financial reporting, analysis and insight, alongside customer focused support to stakeholders across the University.
This is a key role where you will take charge of budgeting and forecasting, working closely with professional services teams, analysing data, identifying trends and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity. There is a high level of data analysis, so you'll be using your excel skills every day to produce reports for the senior management team.
You will have :
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- The ability to organise and prioritise work accurately
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Currently working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ CIPFA/ACA)
- Experience budgeting and forecasting within a large organisation.
