Lee Kum Kee Europe is a successful and growing FMCG organisation with a strong international heritage. As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance \& Accounting team.
This role offers a diverse opportunity to support both our core FMCG operations and property investment business, working closely with regional stakeholders and our Hong Kong headquarters.
Key Duties \& ResponsibilitiesManagement \& Supervision
- Oversee the full Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing and payment management
- Support the Function Head in supervising the Finance \& Accounting team within the HX 3 property investment business
- Ensure compliance with approved accounting standards, corporate policies, and financial procedures
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and operational efficiency
- Maintain accounting records in accordance with local accounting standards and Companies Act requirements
- Monitor and communicate changes in accounting, taxation, secretarial, and industry practices to local teams and headquarters
- Work closely with the Hong Kong Headquarters to provide financial reporting and operational support
- Lead and support Accounts Payable process improvement initiatives
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Lead month\-end and year\-end closing activities for the HX 3 property investment business
- Prepare statutory accounts and management reports for internal and external auditors
- Manage month\-end Accounts Payable closing activities and reconciliations
- Support financial analysis to identify business opportunities, risks, and profitability improvements
- Manage Accounts Payable operations and cash flow activities
- Support bank account management and banking facilities administration
- Assist with internal control monitoring and compliance
- Review VAT, CIS, and other statutory or government reporting requirements
- Ensure the effective safeguarding of company assets
- Maintain compliance with taxation regulations and reporting obligations
- Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance activities
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Support finance\-related projects and ad hoc assignments as required
- Qualified accountant or finalist level qualification with a degree in Accountancy or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience
- At least 2 years’ people management or supervisory experience
- Previous experience within FMCG and/or property management sectors is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid technical accounting, financial control, and risk management knowledge
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem\-solving capabilities
- Self\-motivated, organised, and able to work independently to meet deadlines
- Hands\-on approach with the ability to support the business operationally and strategically
- Positive team player with the drive to improve processes and influence change
- Experience with finance system implementation projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese would be advantageous
- Previous SAP experience is desirable
