Assistant Finance Manager
Location: Reading
Salary: £26 - £36 per hour | In Scope IR35
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Finance Specialist on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivery of all financial activities as assigned to time and quality.
- Compliance to the internal finance control and governance framework in place for relevant activities.
- Identification and implementation of process improvement activities.
- Provision of financial data on a timely basis.
- Assist in analysis and interpretation of financial information as required.
- Ensuring integrity of financial data.
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Training and development of Finance Analysts and/or graduates and apprentices.
- Working by example to support a high performing team.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality.
- Qualifications in a relevant subject area (Business / Finance).
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial information while ensuring the integrity of the data.
- Demonstrable experience in financial fraud.
- Considerable experience of audits within a financial setting.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately on assigned activities.
- Capable of communicating across all levels of the business.
- Previous experience training finance analysts.
