The role

As Assistant Director of Sales, you will support the Director of Sales in leading the Sales \& Events team and driving commercial success across both Hyatt Regency Manchester and Hyatt House Manchester. You will play a key role in generating revenue, developing client relationships and maximising profitability across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Group Sales, Event Sales and Planning activities across both hotels.


• Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and business development activities.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event organisers, universities and key business partners.


• Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and client engagement.


• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams to maximise total hotel performance.


• Coach, develop and inspire the Sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.


• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen market position.

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded sales professional who:

• Has proven experience in hotel sales, events or commercial leadership.


• Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills.


• Is highly organised with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.


• Builds strong relationships and delivers exceptional customer service.


• Has a proactive approach to generating new business opportunities.


• Understands revenue management principles and commercial performance.


• Thrives in a fast\-paced hospitality environment and enjoys achieving targets.
