*We are seeking a creative and detail\-oriented Assistant Designer with experience in Formal \& Smartwear to join our Menswear Tailoring team. In this role, you will support the design team in delivering collections that are both timely and commercially relevant.*

*Key responsibilities include conducting trend and market research, developing clear and engaging visual presentations, assisting with fit sessions, and supporting the product development process from initial concept through to final sample. A strong understanding of knitwear construction, yarns, and techniques is essential.*

Whatyou’lldo

Your key accountabilities will include

  • *Work alongside the JD / Designer to deliver the global product direction*

  • *Work with the Designers to meet critical path deadlines and deliver the right designs, at the right time*

  • *Create CAD’s using photoshop / illustrator in order to show true representation of product for range reviews and PLM tech packs*

  • *Support the Designer to deliver Design Briefs to Indirect Suppliers when required*

  • *Support the Designer on producing a high standard of Tech pack and hit rate on Direct*
Whoyouare

Your skills and experience will include

  • *Strong design and CAD skills with an eye for detail*

  • *Knowledge of trend interpretation, current competitive marketplace, and product design*

  • *Experience in briefing and specifying direct design sourced product, working with Technology/Design and Buying to create high standards of Tech Packs.*

  • *High level of proficiency in Design IT applications to optimise the quality of design work e.g., Photoshop, illustrator, CAD.*

  • *Multitask orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines to the Design and Buying critical path.*
